Erin has a regular media presence, appearing in print, on radio programs and podcasts, and on television. She has served as a spokesperson for events and groups, and also regularly provides political commentary.

 
 

Wonks and War Rooms

Erin appeared on the Wonks and War Rooms Podcast, which examines political communication theory and real life strategy. Her and Dr. Elizabeth Dubois discuss the types of safe spaces, how traditionally marginalized groups have benfitted from them, free speech, and more.

Erin appeared on CBC Ottawa Morning with Robyn Bresnahan to discuss Ottawa’s new city council and the committee assignments. She expressed her concern that the Mayor of Ottawa is centralizing power in the suburban and rural parts of the city to the disadvantage of urban residents.

CKCU FM: Thursday Special Blend

Erin served as a spokesperson for Now What?! Ottawa, a coalition of feminist organizations who are seeking to make gender-based violence an issue in the 2018 municipal election in Ottawa, in an interview with David Yazbeck on CKCU FM 93.1. She spoke to the group's election platform, the genesis of the group, and the importance of local politics.


CHUO FM: Third Wave

Appearing August 14, 2018,  on Julie Lalonde's Third Wave radio show on CHUO 89.1 FM, Erin served as a spokesperson for Now What?! Ottawa, a coalition of feminist organizations seeking to make gender-based violence an issue in the 2018 municipal election in Ottawa. She spoke to the group's objectives and recently released platform.

Ryerson university: the sharing economy and the future of work

On the heels of completing research on the gig (sharing) economy and government, Erin provided a keynote address at a conference hosted by Ryerson University in June 2016. Her presentation was on the implications of the sharing economy on governments and Canadian society.
