Erin served as a spokesperson for Now What?! Ottawa, a coalition of feminist organizations who are seeking to make gender-based violence an issue in the 2018 municipal election in Ottawa, in an interview with David Yazbeck on CKCU FM 93.1. She spoke to the group's election platform, the genesis of the group, and the importance of local politics.

Erin appeared on CBC's All in a Day to promote her appearance on an upcoming panel about making gender-based violence an election issue in Ontario for 2018. Ryerson university: the sharing economy and the future of work
On the heels of completing research on the gig (sharing) economy and government, Erin provided a keynote address at a conference hosted by Ryerson University in June 2016. Her presentation was on the implications of the sharing economy on governments and Canadian society.
Erin appeared on CTV Morning Live, Ottawa's #1 morning show, as a spokesperson for Five Hole For Food, a charitable organization that raised money and collected donations for food banks across Canada, while using street hockey as a way to bring communities together.
